The Buffet
FORT AGUADA BEACH RESORT (GOA TAJ RESORT), Siquerim Goa
There must be very very FEW people in goa who must have not heard about this hotel. TAJ ……..the name is enough.The organisation, arrangement and the flow among these is of top notch quality.You can select a menu meal or a buffet for 850/- per head which will include a wide range of everything from starters, main course to desserts.The hotel management procedure is perfectly implemented here.
The Ambiance
SHER-E-PUNJAB CLASSIC, Hotel Aroma, Panaji
Sher-e-Punjab Classic is the in-house speciality restaurant and bar on the first floor of the Aroma Hotel.It may not enjoy the advantage of the former’s prime location, but it is certainly on an entirely different gastronomical level.
The Ambiance
DELHI DARBAR, Panaji
Its one of the few hotels in goa that bring you the taste of the ‘Mughals’.Located around the center of panaji it serves wide rich varieties of Indian cuisines.The paneers, Tandooris’, Kebabs seem to be their prominent dishes.We visited this restaurant during the ‘Kebab Festival’ of July 2008, and were able to try out delicious and authentic mughlai kebabs.

For the past few months since it’s launch, this posh restaurant has been advertising in Panaji like hell. And surprisingly, the food is as good as it’s ads!

VEGGIE DELI, Calangute:
When going from calangute to candolim you will see this veg restaurant to the left along the roadside
but believe me the interiors are fascinating & has a friendly service

It is a small beautiful bar and restraunt along the roadside.It has got fancy lighting and a pool table that would be sufficient enough to have ‘once a try’ go at it.

Big G at margao is not only famous for its 6 floor unending shopping but also carries a nice little restraunt above it.
BIRYANI PALACE , Anjuna.
During one one of those ‘Drive-around-aimlessly’ nights, we found this restaurant ‘Biryani Palace’ at Anjuna. Their speciality is Kebabs and as the name suggests, Biryani.
The bach side restraunt is a perfect location for a calm evening dine out.A nice experience of having dinner on sand.
TEXAS, Hotel neptune, Panjim
Texas, a multicuisine restaurant in Panaji is a unique experience, especially with the typical American ‘Wild West’ themed atmosphere. Saddles and guns hanged on the walls, wooden columns on the ceiling and waiters in cowboy attire. Truly lives up to it’s name.
The food is great, and service is fast.
